Low Disk Space Reporting and Auto-Remediation

PROBLEM:
Clients with low disk space prevent not only ConfigMgr from doing its job, but end-users from doing their jobs. It can be difficult to manage.

HOW WILL WE FIX IT?:
We’re going to cover some tips on where to look to free up some space – such as creating a configuration item and having a baseline to help manage disks, along with leveraging Right Click Tools to remediate those pesky edge cases.

Optimizing ConfigMgr Cache

PROBLEM:
You have a lot of devices with different size drives, different amounts of free space, and one Client Setting to control the size of your Configuration Manager Client Cache.

HOW WILL WE FIX IT?:
We’ll demonstrate how to remediate devices, clear items in cache, change the size, and see what’s in there.  We’ll show you how to set up a process to be flexible to your needs.  By leveraging configuration items and a baseline, you can let automation deal with keeping your cache optimized, then leverage Right Click Tools to remediate edge cases.

Hardware Model Support Tips

PROBLEM:
You have so many models. How do you know which ones are supported by the vendor for the latest Windows 10 Release? Which ones are out of warranty?  How do you keep them organized in ConfigMgr?  How do you block or allow specific models in your task sequence?

HOW WILL WE FIX IT?:
Let’s take a look at some things you can set up in your environment to help keep tabs on this data, along with how Recast Dashboards and Reporting can help you stay on top of this.
