Excerpt: “For many women in engineering, the issue is not a lack of ambition or ability. It is a lack of access to the right opportunities. Too often, women are mentored and encouraged, but no one is actively advocating for them. Over time, that can slow career growth and limit who is seen as ready to lead. Leaders can help change this by being intentional. If you have influence, use it. Put forward the names of women who are ready for more. Create visibility instead of waiting for it to happen on its own.”
