NEW TOOL! Remote Registry
Create and manage registry keys and values on remote devices ─ even without a direct network connection. The very best experience with our Remote Registry tool comes from using it with Right Click Tools Enterprise and Recast Agent.
Recast Remote Registry is available with all Right Click Tools Enterprise licenses (except Legacy). Right Click Tools Community users will see the feature but, in the absence of Recast Agent, it will require direct network connectivity, just like Windows Remote Registry.

Access Right Click Tools via MCP Server
Retrieve live data about your environment in a new way by using natural language in AI environments, like GitHub Copilot. With the new Right Click Tools MCP Server, Right Click Tools Enterprise and Community users can run the RCT actions that are accessible with their existing permissions, routes, and licensing.

Better User Inventory Data Cleanup
We’ve added a new inventory schedule that automatically cleans up old data from specific inventory classes, such as EI_UserARP, EI_UserDrive, EI_UserODBC, EI_UserPrinter. Up until now, user inventory cleanup in Insights was done with the existing ConfigMgr inventory tool. The new inventory schedule simply does a better job.

Remote File Explorer (Preview)
When using this tool with Right Click Tools Enterprise and Recast Agent, you can securely browse and manage files located on remote devices without the direct network connection, permission, and tooling issues that often hamper remote access. See Remote File Explorer (Preview).
Limitations
- In the Community edition, the RCT Remote File Explorer has the same direct network connectivity limitations as its Microsoft Windows counterpart.
- Customers with Right Click Tools Enterprise Legacy licensing cannot access this tool.
Restart the Intune Management Extension Service
This simple Right Click Tool restarts the Intune Management Extension service, removing delays of up to 60 minutes, so that application installs and scripts will run sooner. This tool is available via the Right Click Tools console and browser extensions. For details, see Restart Intune Management Extension Service.
Run Quick Reports from Remote Windows Security
You can now click Export CSV on any individual Remote Windows Security tab to quickly create a report.
Find Right Click Tools on Intune’s Redesigned Single Device Details Page
Intune's new details page for single devices (out as a Public Preview) now features the Right Click Tools icon and menus. This feature requires an upgrade to browser extension version 3.1.0.0.
Remote Windows Security Updates
- Get ready for Secure Boot certificate expiry in June 2026 by viewing the Secure Boot certificate update status, plus readiness and error details, for your devices. Identify devices that use 2011 certificates and run a Secure Boot task to help move those devices to the updated certificate chain. For details, see Remote Windows Security: Firmware.
- Right Click Tools Community users can now launch the Remote Windows Security tool using the browser extension.

Whether you’re running Right Click Tools Community or Enterprise, there’s now an easy way to see which applications in your Configuration Manager Add/Remove Programs inventory could be kept compliant with Right Click Tools Patching. Run Intune-specific tools on multiple devices at once
New and Classic Device Management Tools in Intune
In Right Click Tools for Intune, you’ll now find three recently developed Recast actions, as well as a half dozen classic Tools that were previously missing from the browser extension.

Create an Intune Software Update Process
Keep the software on your Intune-managed devices up to date by running RCT Patching deployment processes in update mode. You can target broader groups while RCT Patching figures out the exact devices that need a newer application version before running those updates. Configure Application-Level Settings for Deployment Processes
Using this highly requested feature, you can override the settings inherited from a deployment process and set different options for an individual application. That means you no longer need to create a separate deployment process to customize settings for a single application. For details, see Configure Deployment Process Settings for an Individual Application.
Easier Deployment Process Event Scheduling
We've changed how you create and manage your own scheduled deployment process events. Previously, deployments processes were scheduled under Advanced Deployment Process settings. Now, there’s one page where you can view all the events that trigger deployment processes, and you can add, edit, or delete scheduled events from the Deployment Processes page or Deployment Process Details page. Allow Installation of 32-bit Applications on 64-bit Computers
Set up ConfigMgr or Intune deployment processes to enable the installation of 32-bit applications on 64-bit machines. See Update Targeting.
Resume All Deployment Processes
Click a single Resume button to restart all paused deployment processes.
Restrict Application Updates to Minor Versions
You now have the option to limit software updates for ConfigMgr to just those for a specific major version. See Limit Software Update Within Major Version.
Migrate Applications from Configuration Manager to Intune
There’s now an easy way to create Intune deployment processes that include the gamut of applications in your ConfigMgr Add/Remove Programs inventory. To learn how, see Migrate Applications from ConfigMgr to Intune.
Exclude Dependencies from Deployment Processes
This option can come in handy when you’re trying to prevent a problematic dependency from disrupting application updates. See Exclude Dependencies for more information.
Schedule your deployments

Deploy apps/updates to Intune’s built-in groups

Replace default installation/uninstallation parameters

Patch applications via ConfigMgr’s software update management
Protect your deployed applications from security vulnerabilities by using RCT Patching to publish updates to Configuration Manager’s software update management. To learn how, see Add a Software Update Process.

Automate application removal from Configuration Manager
You can create deployments to uninstall applications from ConfigMgr. This feature also supports pre- and post-uninstall actions.
Run Custom Actions Before and/or After Installation
Add a script or executable to one or all deployment processes to run specific actions before or after installing new application versions. For instructions and details, see Add Pre-/Post-Install Actions.
Email Notifications for Application Deployment
Keep admins in the know about deployments and deployment processes with automatic success and failure notifications. This highly anticipated feature includes an option to create new email templates to choose the exact messaging and deployment process details you want to deliver. Rate Limiting for Device Inventory Requests
We’ve added rate limiting on the connections used to request inventory from Agent-based devices. This feature aims to prevent SQL server overload when a large number of Agent attempt to send back inventory data concurrently.
New Warranty Information Details and Drill-Down
You’ll see new data categories and new functionality on the Warranty Information dashboard:
- View Device Age and Remaining Coverage
- Filter Remaining Coverage by its status (active, expiring soon, or expired)
- Drill down into Device by Status and Warranty Expiration Timeline data

Preview our new warranty information dashboard
There’s now an easier way to visualize warranty information for all the devices you manage with Microsoft Intune. This preview edition displays a warranty expiration timeline as well as charts showing your Intune-managed devices according to warranty status and manufacturer. Refresh a Recast Agent’s Settings
Manually trigger an update of settings for a specified Recast Agent instead of waiting up to 60 minutes for those settings to refresh automatically. For details, see Refresh Agent Settings.
Better Privileged Access Performance
Now that Privileged Access resolves membership information without the need for Proxy requests, you’ll see much-improved performance in environments that include on‑prem AD–joined devices.
Limit Self-Service Privileges to Just a User’s Primary Devices
You now have the option to let users self-serve only when they are logged into their primary device(s). To learn how, see Limit Self-Service to Primary Devices.
User Experience Improvements
The next time you log into the portal, you’ll spot some text and layout updates. The edits are meant to add some clarity around recent Recast naming changes and should also make it easier to find what you’re looking for in the portal.
