One of the most overlooked items in SSRS is the email option. It is easy to forget, but it is easy to fix too. How do you know if you have forgotten to add the email option to SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)? Well, you will only have the Windows File Share option displayed when you try to set up an SSRS subscription.
In this video, I will show you how to enable the email option within SSRS.
Important Note:
You need to talk to your Exchange Administrator too. They will have to allow your SSRS server access to the Exchange server.
