Introduction  

Hello, everyone! I am Prajwal Desai, a Microsoft Intune & Windows 365 MVP dedicated to sharing my expertise through blogs, forums, and video tutorials. 

Microsoft has several new announcements and updates across their products. Microsoft Intune added key updates focused on Windows Autopilot device association, Remote Help unattended access, Android SIM inventory expansion, and much more.

Prajwal’s take on Microsoft news  

From what I’ve been seeing, there have been numerous developments and significant announcements from Microsoft in areas such as Intune, Configuration Manager, Windows 365. In case you haven’t yet had time to catch up on all the announcements from Microsoft across different products, I’m happy to offer a recap of the important updates. 

  1. Windows Autopilot device association is generally available, and this feature lets administrators link devices to their tenant and configure pre-enrollment experiences before full device registration, reducing onboarding friction and improving security. 
  1. Configuration Manager version 2609 is expected to be released later this month. 
  1. For anyone looking to complete their certifications, the Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) and Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200) retired on August 31, 2026, replaced by the SC-500 and AB-410 paths. 
  1. Microsoft released critical defense-in-depth security hotfixes (KB38982839) targeting vulnerabilities within the SMS Provider and administration service.
