What’s New in the May Release?
Topics: Right Click Tools, What's New
We’re excited to share several new features and enhancements included in our May release. Many of the updates originated from a recent internal innovation marathon we hosted in April. These sessions are a key part of our product development cycle and often bring fresh, valuable capabilities directly aligned with customer needs.
While not every project developed during the innovation marathon made it into this month’s release, we are proud to highlight several impactful features that were inspired directly by customer feedback. These new capabilities reflect our ongoing commitment to listening to your needs and continuously improving our platform.
Here’s a summary of some of the new features available in the May release (in no particular order):
- BitLocker Key Retrieval Tool: This tool simplifies access to BitLocker recovery keys across your environment. It’s designed to improve administrative efficiency and streamline device recovery processes.
- Profile Size Reporting: This feature enables administrators to quickly view the size of a selected user profile. It’s especially helpful for troubleshooting performance issues and managing storage across systems.
- Local Disk Detail Retrieval: A new node has been introduced that allows administrators to easily retrieve detailed information about local disk drives on a device. This provides greater visibility into hardware configurations and helps inform capacity planning and device health assessments.
- RMS Agent Dashboard Enhancements: We’ve made significant updates to the RMS (Remote Management Suite) Agent Dashboard. The dashboard now includes enhanced visibility into the last logon details for each device, enabling better monitoring and user activity insights. These changes are part of a broader set of improvements to the dashboard’s usability and value.
- Additional Improvements: While these are some of the headline features, there are additional enhancements included in the release that contribute to overall performance, usability, and functionality.
We encourage all users to review the full release notes for a comprehensive list of updates. You can also watch a video introduction to these new features below:
Looking Ahead: When Is the Next Innovation Marathon?
We host several innovation marathons throughout the year, each with a unique focus. These events are a key part of how we explore emerging ideas, test out new concepts, and gather cross-functional input. Themes vary across sessions, and they generally fall into one of three categories:
- Future-Focused Concepts: These are exploratory ideas sparked by curiosity—such as “what if we could do this?” While not every experiment becomes a product feature, many serve as the foundation for future innovations.
- Creative and Lighthearted Prototypes: Occasionally, our developers take a break from conventional development to build humorous or unusual ideas. These aren’t intended for production use but serve as creative exercises that foster unique ideas. Examples include playful projects featuring unconventional volume controls, showcased in these third-party Instagram posts—here and here.
- Customer-Driven Enhancements: Customer feedback drives many of our ideas. We gather it through the Ideas Portal and in conversations with Customer Success Managers, support staff, and sales teams. These ideas often become real features that improve your experience with our platform.
Share Your Ideas With Us
We deeply value your input. If you have a feature request or improvement suggestion, we encourage you to visit our Ideas Portal to see what others have submitted and to add your own. Our product and engineering teams actively review this portal on a daily basis.
Additionally, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your Customer Success, CX, or Sales Representative to discuss your ideas in more detail. Your feedback is instrumental in shaping our roadmap. It could very well be the spark that inspires our next innovation marathon project—or even a key feature in an upcoming release.
Thank you for being part of our journey. We’re excited about what’s ahead and look forward to continuing to build solutions that support your success.
