Prajwal’s take on Microsoft news

There have been some significant Microsoft announcements in recent weeks. In case you haven’t yet had time to catch up on all the news, here’s a recap of the important updates. 

  1. RSAT capabilities arrive on Arm-based Windows 11 PCs. Note that Windows 11, version 26H1 is not a feature update for version 25H2. 
  1. Edge for Business extends its capability to deliver Intune App Protection Policies via Intune MAM. 
  1. The first sign-in restore experience is now part of Windows Backup for Organizations. 
  1. The Microsoft Secure Boot certificates originally issued in 2011 begin expiring in June 2026. To maintain protection against new boot‑level threats, Microsoft is updating devices with a new set of 2023 certificates. 
  1. Microsoft Entra’s new Self-Service Account Recovery is now available in Preview. 
  1. Windows Autopatch is enabling hotpatch security updates by default to help secure devices even faster.
