Introduction

Hello, everyone! I am Prajwal Desai, a Microsoft Intune & Windows 365 MVP dedicated to sharing my expertise through blogs, forums, and video tutorials. It’s an honor to present the latest 2025 Recast Endpoint Management Recap. I hope you enjoy this edition.

Prajwal’s Take on Microsoft News

There have been several recent announcements and news updates across different Microsoft products, especially new pricing plans for M365 E3 and E5. In addition, products such as Intune, Windows 11, and Windows 365 received some new features. In case you haven’t yet had time to catch up on all the announcements from Microsoft, here’s a recap of the important updates.

Summary of Intune Suite coming to M365 E3 and E5
  1. Let’s start with the big news. Intune Suite is coming to Microsoft 365 E3 and E5. In early December, Microsoft announced it is bringing the Intune Suite’s powerful capabilities to Microsoft 365 E3 and Microsoft 365 E5. The licensing is much simpler and clearer for organizations looking to upgrade their existing licenses or buy new ones.
  2. Windows 11, version 23H2 (Home and Pro editions) reached end of servicing on November 11, 2025. Enterprise and Education editions will continue to receive updates through November 10, 2026.
  3. Starting with version 2609, Microsoft Configuration Manager will transition to an annual release cadence. You will get only one current branch update per year along with critical hotfixes (if required).
  4. Windows 11 expands passkey manager support. This is a very good feature, and users can now choose their favorite passkey manager whether it’s Microsoft Password Manager or one from a trusted third-party provider.
  5. Autopatch gets the Quick Machine Recovery (QMR) feature that helps recover Windows devices from boot failures (caused by Microsoft or third-party kernel mode drivers).
