Support for Custom Applications

Application Manager users can now upload and deploy their own custom applications. Whether it be an in-house developed application or an application download locked behind a login page, you can now take advantage of Application Manager’s easy to set up deployment processes to package and deploy these apps.

Right Click Tools Browser Extension for Google Chrome

The Right Click Tools browser extension is now available to be added to your Google Chrome browser from the Chrome webstore. This browser extension works for both the Enterprise and Community editions of Right Click Tools, bringing you the same Right Click Tools actions you know and love to the Microsoft Intune Admin Center and beyond!

To get started:

• Install Browser Extension for Right Click Tools Enterprise Edition
• Install Browser Extension for Right Click Tools Community Edition

Run Right Click Tools on a Device With No ConfigMgr Console

Users can now install Right Click Tools and the browser extension on a device without the ConfigMgr console installed and take Right Click Tools actions from the Intune Admin Center. Previously, the ConfigMgr console was required to be installed on all devices that would run actions via the browser extension.

Recast Management Server: Service Connection Synchronization

The Recast Management Server now retrieves both user and device data from ConfigMgr and Active Directory service connections on a sync schedule. Those who apply several limiting rules (formerly ‘scopes’) for routes or users will see the greatest performance improvements when running Right Click Tools actions.

Custom Role Templates in Recast Management Server

It is now easier than ever to set up custom roles and permissions in the Recast Management Server. In the past a PowerShell script containing three custom roles would need to be downloaded. These are now available by default in the Permissions page of Recast Management Server.

Bug Fix Highlights:

• We have fixed a customer reported issue that would cause the Recast Management Server port to reset to its default on update.

• A bug has been fixed that caused a “Not Found” status to be returned when attempting to run actions via the Fast Channel.

• A customer reported issue has been fixed in Right Click Tools that would cause devices to incorrectly return “No Key Found” when running the ConfigMgr BitLocker Recovery Keys action.
  Minimum version: 5.9.2503
• In the Recast Management Server, we have fixed a bug that would would cause RMS to crash when encountering an unhandled NullReferenceException.
  Minimum version: 5.9.2504
