Hello, everyone! 

I am Prajwal Desai, a Microsoft Intune & Windows 365 MVP dedicated to sharing my expertise through blogs, forums, and video tutorials It’s an honor to present the July 2025 Recast Newsletter Recap. 

In July, Microsoft announced updates across several products. Intune now includes LAPS integration for macOS, wildcard support for Endpoint Privilege Management on Windows, and new platform-specific rules. The Microsoft Sentinel data lake has entered public preview, Security Copilot in Microsoft Entra is generally available, and key issues affecting Windows Server 2025 have been addressed via Windows Updates. 

On a personal note, I’ve just been renewed as a Microsoft MVP for the eleventh consecutive year. I’ve been busy blogging, answering questions on my forums, and working on a few new projects.

We’ve added two free automation templates to the Right Click Tools Builder repo to address the current SharePoint vulnerabilities. One flags endpoints for CVE-2025-47981; the other helps remediate CVE-2025-53770 on SharePoint servers. Import, run against a pilot collection, and accelerate patching with your existing ConfigMgr/Intune process. Templates: CVE-47981 and CVE-53770.

Right Click Tools just leveled up with new Entra ID and Intune-focused actions—add devices to Entra groups or wipe them from Azure in a single click. An updated Intune browser extension also unlocks a trove of Hackathon-built and classic favorites, from BitLocker key retrieval and LAPS management to Event Viewer access and scheduled-task insights. Watch the Chrome and Edge Add-ons Stores for the new extension as soon as it clears their approval queues.

Recast also hosted Jannik Reinhard for an advanced session on automation tools like Microsoft Graph API, PowerShell, and third-party solutions that improve Intune management. Check it out below.
