As we turn the final pages of 2023, we can take a moment to reflect on all things ‘endpoint management’ this past year. For me, it’s certainly been fun sharing these monthly recaps with you.

This year’s key highlights include:

• The long-awaited release of Intune’s deployment service for driver and firmware updates.
• A new rebranding:
  • Microsoft Endpoint Manager is now Intune
  • Azure AD has been transformed into Entra ID
• The announcement of the Microsoft Intune Suite.
• Integration of Winget in Windows Autopilot, enhancing deployment flexibility.
• Introduction of Windows LAPS as an integrated part of the Windows 11 platform.
• Microsoft’s shift to a semi-annual release cadence for ConfigMgr.
• The launch of Windows 365 Switch and Boot.
